Carolina Parent recently featured Action Now! and the group’s focus on school-based health centers which was chosen by participating youth through an extensive process, including a review of the list of adolescent health recommendations drafted by the North Carolina Institute of Medicine Task Force. Action Now! is a project of Youth Empowered Solutions (YES!), a nonprofit organization that empowers youth, in partnership with adults, to create community change. The Action Now! team is receiving training and learning to implement advocacy action plans withgrant support from the John Rex Endowment.
