NC State Psychology Professor Mary Hasket Talks About Project CATCH
Mary Hasket, psychologist and professor at North Carolina State University, is featured in The Abstract blog of NC State for her work with the Salvation Army of Wake County and Project CATCH (Community Action Targeting Children who are Homeless). The purpose of Project CATCH is to implement a system of care for homeless families with children and youth residing in any one of nine Wake County homeless service programs. Project CATCH, which may serve as a national model, is funded by the John Rex Endowment and has an existing partnership with the National Center on Family Homelessness to develop a training plan for participating homeless shelters.
