For a request for proposal (RFP) grant:
- Grantees start by completing a Letter of Intent (LOI) in our online grant management system, Foundant.
- We then review the LOIs.
- We invite organizations who qualify for the next round to submit a full proposal.
A letter of intent is often the initial step in a grant application process. Think about LOIs like your first introduction to a foundation – a detailed cover letter declaring your intention to apply. A letter of intent often shares why you are interested in a grant, how you would use the investment and why you would be a great fit for the foundation.
We look for partners who:
- Focus on racial equity and racial justice.
- Have the mission to improve the social emotional health of children.
