John Rex Endowment (JRE) is not your average grantmaking foundation.

We support Wake County nonprofits through traditional and non-traditional means, including:

Funding, via both RFPs for grants and funding opportunities we create together.
Non-monetary support such as best practices, coaching and connections to useful people and resources.

Create a Grant with Us

We’re transforming our grantmaking model to remove unnecessary hurdles that may stop nonprofits from applying for or receiving grants. We work with qualifying Wake County nonprofits to collaboratively define and develop funding opportunities.

We look for partners who:

Are focused on racial justice and racial equity.

Complete work to improve the social emotional health of children.

Work in Wake County, North Carolina.
