John Rex Endowment Announces the Launch of the 2025 Partners in Capacity Building & Impact Opportunity

John Rex Endowment (JRE) is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 Partners in Capacity Building & Impact (PCBI25) Request for Partnerships. This initiative marks the second iteration of our multi-cohort, multi-year funding opportunity to foster deep collaboration, leadership development, and equity-centered systems change.

At JRE, we believe that the most meaningful change happens when communities have the power, resources, and support needed to shape the conditions in which children thrive. Through PCBI25, we seek to partner with up to four organizations dedicated to advancing racial equity and improving the social-emotional health of children and families in Wake County.

About the Opportunity

This three-year partnership offers:

• $75,000 in unrestricted funding ($25,000 per year)
• A collaborative learning experience facilitated by Emerging Equity, focusing on leadership development, intersectional equity, and systems change
• A community of practice where selected organizations will learn, problem-solve, and co-create solutions alongside their peers

• 📅 June 10 – Kickoff Orientation for selected partners
